This cemetery is known to be predominantly white.
LOCATION:
The cemetery is Located across from the Center Grove Southern
Baptist Church. From Linden go north on Texas Hwy 8 approximately
4 miles, turn right on CR 1123, go approximately 1 1/2 miles, turn
left on CR 1122 and it dead ends appvoximately 1/2 miie at the
Center Grove Church and Cemetery,
HISTORY :
The cemetery was created in approximately 1859 with the burial of
some of the Graham family. Since-1859, James T. and·Mallissia
Hamilton, James R. and Aannie HAMILTON Andersen and family have
deeded land for the cemetery.
